Summary:

The implementation of the 4. EU-AML-Directive will not cause significant burdens or disadvantages for online gaming providers compared to the current AML regime in Germany. However, the legislator should take the chance to implement an enhanced and consistent regulation for all types online gaming in Germany and to create higher transparency on applicable rules for online providers licensed in other EEA member states.
