Specialised legal consultancy services in German and international law for the TIME industries
Hambach & Hambach is a boutique law firm based in Munich, Germany, specialising in corporate law consultancy services for all TIME industries – telecommunication, internet, media & entertainment.
Long-standing industry experience
For more than 15 years, we have been providing consultancy services for domestic and foreign companies along the entire value-creation chain in the gaming industry. Based on our long-standing work at the highest level, we have been able to gain the reputation of being one of the leading law firms world-wide specialising in this field. We were, for instance, able to achieve the “Carmen Media” judgment by the European court of Justice (Case C 26/08), as a result of which gaming law in Germany had to be revised. Furthermore, we also advise governments on the revision of online gaming law – the EU Commission, for instance, assigned us with modernising the gaming legislation of an eastern European country in the light of Community law.
Competence and expertise
With our years of specialisation in all TIME industries – telecommunication, internet, media & entertainment – we stand for utmost professional competence and expertise. Our offers comprise not only legal, but also strategic consultancy services for companies already represented in the market or planning to enter the market. One of our founding partners, Dr Wulf Hambach, is a co-editor of the Beck legal commentary on gambling and gaming law “Glücks- und Gewinnspielrecht in den Medien” to which numerous of our lawyers contributed as authors.
Our work is supported by a strong network on the national and international level, which we are continuously working to expand. We are regarded as being very well networked. Chambers Global described our founding partner Dr Wulf Hambach as “incredibly influential”. Also, we cooperate as permanent partners with law firms in Amsterdam, Madrid and Rome, and with other law firms on all continents in individual cases. With our cooperation partners in Amsterdam, Madrid and Rome, we operate the industry information portal “GamingLaw.eu”.
