Stefan Bolay wrote his doctoral thesis on competitions and sweepstakes and publishes expert articles on a regular basis. Furthermore, he is author of the commentary “Gaming and Gambling Law in the Media” (Interstate Treaty on Gambling, Advertising Guideline, Interstate Treaty on Broadcasting, German Telemedia Act).
Stefan Bolay in particular advises clients of the media & entertainment industries. He assists on contract negotiations and promotional campaigns and represents his clients in proceedings regarding administrative law and unfair competition.fahren.
Stefan Bolay studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg and the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg as well as within a one year stay abroad at the University of Lund in Sweden.
He passed the two legal state exams in 2001 and 2003 in Heidelberg and was admitted to the German bar in 2004.
Before joining Hambach & Hambach, he worked part-time for the renowned German law firm Melchers in Heidelberg while completing his doctorate, followed by more than two years for the international law firm Taylor Wessing in Munich. In 2008 he received his doctorate in law (Dr. jur) by the Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg.
