Ferdinand Spann studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, specializing in "Intellectual Property and Media Law".
He completed his legal traineeship (Referendariat) at the Higher Regional Court of Munich with a focus on "Advocacy". During his traineeship, he worked as a legal assistant (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) for a leading German law firm.
Afterwards, he worked for two years in Augsburg at a law firm specializing in consumer protection law.
